Good afternoon and thank you very much for your email. I would like to inform you that our accountant has received your donated money transfer on 9 June 2021 with amount 474,857.91THB already.
On behalf of the Prostheses Foundation, I am writing to sincerely thank you for all of your continued support. Since March 2020, even though we didn’t have the Mobile Clinic Units because of the Covid-19 situation, but after that we had the 1st National Free Prosthetic Leg Service from November 16, 2020 to December 25, 2020 with our 92 Royal Prosthetic Leg Workshops which has located in almost provinces of Thailand to provide prosthetic legs to amputees in their provinces and nearby. All of the 460 prosthetic legs and 40 legs for prosthesis maintenance were done.
From March 2020 to May 2021, we have provided the prosthetic legs as follow:
- At the foundation’s Chiang Mai office, we have provided a total of 237 prosthetic legs and 167 legs for prosthesis maintenance.
- For our 94 Royal Prosthetic Leg Workshops, we have supported the free prosthetic components to provide the amputees a total of 2,395 prosthetic legs and 807 legs for prosthesis maintenance.
Due to all of our staffs have got the 2nd dose of covid-19 vaccine in this week, we will open the prosthetic leg clinic at the foundation’s Chiang Mai office and will operate the 2nd National Free Service Prosthetic Leg at the foundation’s Chiang Mai office and at our 94 Royal Prosthetic Leg Workshops for the amount of 330 prosthetic legs in July 2021.
Ultimately, I would like to thank you very much for the sake of the amputees, without your support, they will be dependent cripple. We will send the original donation receipt and letter to appreciate to you as soon as we get the delivery address from you.
